Public Records Request
Requests for public records from the Department of Insurance can be submitted via email to Marla Sink at email@example.com. Please include your name, the entity with which you work, your phone number, fax number and mailing address (so we can fax or mail the documents to you) and a description of what you need. Please also tell us any deadline under which you are working; we will do our best to accommodate your schedule but can't guarantee that we can pull files quickly. It will depend on the nature of your request.
Please note that for requests that exceed just a few pages, North Carolina law requires a 50 cent per page charge. Depending on the amount of copies requested, you may be asked to submit payment up front. We will provide you with an invoice for billing purposes.
After a legal review, any requested records which are public will be released to you in a timely manner.
