Commissioner Mike Causey to attend ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Trenton Fire Department station destroyed by Hurricane Florence Building codes, disaster preparedness will also be discussed during Thursday visit to Lenoir, Jones counties

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey is scheduled to meet with fire departments and building inspectors during a trip to Lenoir and Jones counties Thursday, Oct. 8. He will take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new Trenton Volunteer Fire Department station destroyed by Hurricane Florence in 2018.

Commissioner Causey will also deliver fire safety coloring books to fire departments in light of Fire Prevention Week Oct. 4 – 10.
