North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will host a public ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of NCDOI’s Piedmont Regional Office at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 19. The office is located at 106 Baker Road, Archdale, North Carolina.
“This new office will allow the Department of Insurance and the Office of State Fire Marshal to better serve North Carolina residents of the Triad and beyond,” Commissioner Causey said. “We are very excited to welcome the public here to see our building first-hand.”
The purpose of the regional offices is to serve North Carolinians in all matters related to the department. This includes the fielding and handling of questions or inquiries about various aspects of insurance and questions regarding all the divisions within the department including divisions that regulate bail bondsmen, investigate insurance fraud, and assist consumers and fire services.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Archdale-Trinity Chamber of Commerce’s Coffee and Conversation series.
