North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will present two Save Awards and an Order of the Guardian Award during a visit to Vance County on Thursday, Jan. 19.
Commissioner Causey, who is also the State Fire Marshal, will present SAVE Awards during a stop at Vance County Emergency Services Thursday morning. SAVE Awards go to first responders and others who go above and beyond the call of duty in their work.
The Order of the Guardian Award, the top award presented by the Insurance Commissioner, will be presented during a stop at the Henderson Town Hall Thursday afternoon.
