Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey today announced that two insurance companies, Builders Mutual Insurance Co. and Builders Premier Insurance Co., agreed to a voluntary settlement agreement following a market conduct compliance examination.
North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey has announced the arrests of Alyssa Cheyenne Woolledge, 30, of 112 Hazel Lane, Troutman, and Michael Anthony Brown, 43, of 143 Perrin Dr., Mooresville. Woolledge is charged with one count of insurance fraud. Brown is charged with one count of insurance fraud and one count of obtaining property by false pretense.

Bradley was charged with insurance fraud and identity theft, both felonies.Special agents with the Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigations Division accuse Bradley of using the name and date of birth of another person to obtain an automobile insurance policy from Nationwide Insurance Co.The offense occurred on Jan. 15, 2024.
