North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey today announced the arrest of Tracy Lee Davie, 56, of 529 Moultonboro Ave., Wake Forest. Davie was charged with insurance fraud and obtaining property by false pretense, both felonies.Special agents with the Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigations Division accuse Davie of receiving $18,752.25 from USAA Insurance by submitting fabricated statements for services not provided in a homeowners’ insurance claim.The offenses occurred on Oct. 21, 2024. Davie was arrested on June 3 and given an $8,000 secured bond.
