Insurance Company,Motor Club and County Farm Mutual Appointments and Terminations

Company Appointment Renewals

All company appointments and terminations for insurance companies, motor club companies, and county farm mutual companies are required to processed electronically through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). Electronic processing is mandatory pursuant to North Carolina General Statute (NCGS) 58-2-250 and North Carolina Administrative Code (NCAC) 11 NCAC 06A.0201 and 11 NCAC 06A. 0505.

Additional information on electronic processing can be found on the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) website at www.nipr.com.

In the rare instance that electronic processing cannot be done through NIPR, appointment and termination forms have been provided for companies to utilize with prior approval by Agent Services Division. The forms are located in the forms for insurance companies.

All company appointment renewals for insurance companies, motor club companies, and county farm mutual companies are required to processed electronically through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). Electronic processing is mandatory pursuant to North Carolina Administrative Code, 11 NCAC 06A.0501 effective 10/1/2010.
