North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey today announced the arrest of Nigel Marquise Vines, 39, of 1239 Kelston Place, Charlotte. Vines was charged with three counts of insurance fraud, all felonies.Special agents with the Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigations Division accuse Vines of submitting altered invoices on three renters’ insurance claims with State Farm Insurance Co., two in Mecklenburg County and one in Gaston County. Special agents say the claims involved water damage to clothes.

Woods was charged with insurance fraud and two counts of common law forgery, all felonies.According to a Cleveland County grand jury, which indicted Woods on the charges, Woods forged two bills of sale, one for a Scag Turf Tiger mower and one for a John Deere Gator, and provided them to Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. in support of an insurance claim for storm damage.

Special agents with the Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigations Division accuse Harrell of misrepresenting when the damage to her vehicle occurred.
